LIKE,LOVE AND HATE + VERB -ING

ACTIVITIES LIKE +ING

LOVE - ENCANTAR
HATE – DETESTAR / ODIAR

Estos verbos van seguidos casi siempre de nombre o gerundio (= verbo+ing)

INFINITIVE

To shop
shopping
To take
taking
To use
using
To rollerskate
rollerskating
To dance
dancing

La mayoría añaden -ing, pero hay otros que terminan en “e” que la pierden al formar el gerundio, es decir, al añadir -ing .Ej: dance- dancing, have- having.

Otros doblan la última consonante al añadir -ing. Ej: shop-shopping, run-running, swim-swimming.

EXAMPLES:
AFFIRMATIVE:  You like chocolate . You like collecting stickers.
She likes bananas. She likes taking photos.

INTERROGATIVE: Do you like fish? . Do you like shopping ?
Does she like crisps? Does she like dancing?

NEGATIVE: We don’t like oranges. We don’t like rolleskating.
He doesn’t like chicken. He doesn’t like singing.
